Mariss Stevens is a full-time quilt artist. She is a member of TAPE (Textile Artists of PE), the South African textile art group, Fibreworks, and the Dias Quilters’ Guild She has exhibited locally and overseas. She is a self-taught artist, but has attended and given workshops on quilt making and stitching. She writes a weekly blog about her stitch practice.
