Are you interested in mastering hand appliqué techniques? Then this workshop is for you!
Learn four hand appliqué techniques in one day – how to use appliqué paper and freezer paper; how to do needle turn and reverse appliqué as well as how to perfect appliquéd stems, leaves and circles.  Ideas will be shared on enhancing your work by using embroidery stitches, beads and buttons.
You will work on a 6” block which can be finished at home into a small wall hanging, cushion or bag.

Workshop requirements:
1. Notebook: pen/pencil and eraser
2. Scissors: fabric and paper

3. Hand sewing needles and thimble
4. Basting thread in neutral colour (e.g. grey/khaki)
5. Sharp point embroidery scissors
6. Iron and small ironing board
7. White and charcoal marking pencil; blue water-soluble pen
8. Appliqué pins
9. Teflon sheet
10. No.8 embroidery needle
11. Buttons/beads (optional)
