Dias Quilters' Guild - Spring Show 2021

As a result of the current Covid pandemic, the Committee has been forced to review the Spring show in its traditional format. We are therefore very proud to be breaking new ground in that we will be running a “virtual” Spring Show this year.

What does this mean:

  • There will no longer be a physical show at Victoria Park Primary School
  • We still require all your Quilt entries. Entry form can be downloaded from this site.
  • Quilt categories are available to download below
  • Quilt Take In day is Thursday 23 September at Skatkis Lap
  • Judging of all quilts will continue as originally planned
  • We will display all quilt entries on this site in the gallery
  • Spring Show workshops will continue as planned. These will now be held at Skatkis Lap, William Moffet Expressway.
  • Strict Covid protocols will be in place during all Workshops
  • Prize winners will be announced at our planned Guild Meeting on 2nd October and all the winning quilts will be on display

Quilt Entries

Van Gogh Challenge – 2021

17 of our TAPE group members participated in the challenge. Antoinette Kriel supplied us with the small squares of fabric with a selection of Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings printed on the fabric.
The challenge was to ‘do something interesting with this’.
