Skill Level : Intermediate – this class is not for sewing beginners. You need to be comfortable with your machine!

Project Sample

Create a mini fabric Aloe sculpture with Angie using your sewing machine and hand stitching.

Make a mini sandwich; quilt and outline graded sized leaves onto it with your machine using a paper template.

Learn to wire the leaves and how to cut them out before finishing the edgings.

Create wired aloe flower stems by binding wires.

Roll fabric beads for flower heads and embellish them.

Assemble your sculpture with hand stitching and expert guidance!

Compulsory Kit: includes pattern, pre-cut wires, lamé thread, stiffening, tacky batting, freezer paper, bamboo skewers, bias binding. Kit also includes use of glues and brushes.
